The Monday night JAZZ JAM began in 1980 and continues to be the safe harbor of the Austin jazz scene. Over 10,000 musicians from all over the world have shared their talents on the JAM stage. “Live At the Elephant Room” on Fable Records captures a slice of Austin jazz history.  Live jazz in the basement.

Beto y los Fairlanes challenge Extreme Heat to yet another “battle of the bands” at the SAXON PUB on Friday, APRIL 16, 2010 (a battle that began at the Armadillo World Headquarters over 30 years ago where the audience is the winner every time).  The coin has been tossed and the battle will begin with Extreme Heat at 9pm.
